I wish I had the money to buy this masterpiece of gaming at launch. I’ll just have to wait, and I guess U3 will keep me preoccupied but I’m going to be foaming at the mouth watching the trailers knowing I won’t get to play it right away>.<
preordered it already half a year ago.
Bought Rage in the first place for ps3, but returned it the next day for the pop in issue…
instead of returning te mony, i have put the mony on the preorder for Skyrim, so i dont have to pay for it at release.
Now i can also buy MW3 at launch!
Rage has pop-in on every platform. Even PC. When you fix GPU drivers on PC and it gets patched, pop-in improves at least. Only reason pop-in is worse on PS3 is because textures and objects are loading from a partial 8 GB install combined with resources from the disc. 360 supports the full game install all to be read directly from HDD as does PC. Thus, faster loading textures and less pop in. But good choice you exchanged it instead of buying Rage for another platform because pop-in is still on 360 version even with 22 GB install. Without the install, 360 version is three times as bad as PS3 version. It’s pretty much a lose lose situation either way so Skyrim ftw.
And we all thought Oblivion looked amazing (and it did) but Skyrim will blow it out of the water.
This new ‘piece’ needs to be coop. I need to play with my Poo in the fields and swim in the streams naked as he protects me from dragons. Then we will go off into the wilderness to kill orcs and crap.
coop is the key, get with the times!
