Some great news for fans of the Yakuza series today. Sega has announced they will be bringing the zombie infused, Yakuza: Of The End to North America and Europe this April. The game will be dropping the “Of The End” title, and will instead be called “Yakuza: Dead Souls.
Due to poor sales of the series anywhere other than Japan (where it easily sells millions), there has been much speculation regarding this title making it out of the country. Well that speculation can be put to rest, as Sega has confirmed the title will be receiving a western release, and we couldn’t be happier.
Yakuza: Dead Souls takes the series in a different direction than most Yakuza titles, pitting Kazuma Kiryu and company against the undead. We played the demo which was released on the Japanese PS Store back in February and had a blast with it. Below is a gameplay video and some screenshots from the demo, have a look and let us know if you’ll be picking up Dead Souls when it hits in April.

I love this game. it has a different concept in gaming style, it reminds me of Shenmue, I so loved this game when it used to be Dreamcast and Shenmue 2 was fantastic. I played Yakuza 3 and it’s really fantastic game , guys I recommend playing it.
Yakuza Dark Souls
I agree with Moe Kaddas, this is a fantastic game indeed. The Yakuza series has always held something special in it, sadly it’s a niche franchise here in North America.
Also, LoT, a sequel for Transformers: War for Cybertron has been announced:

“Fall of Cybertron”. I just thought it would be some interesting information to share, seeing as War for Cybertron was an absolute delight to play.
EDIT:
Apparently they had already confirmed a sequel back in November of 2010. My schooling really has taken up a lot of my time, sorry.
It’ll be a day one purchase for me. I’m a huge fan of the series and it’s a great looking spin off. Now if only Black Panther and Kenzan would come to the US(I’d rather have Black Panther, but I’d still pick up Kenzan.)
