The first batch of Uncharted 3 DLC has been released today, it’s called the “Flashback Map Pack” and features four maps from Uncharted 2, re-rendered with new effects.
The maps are Sanctuary, Fort, Cave and Lost City and each will feature new “dynamic lighting effects, new particle effects and a slew of technical changes”. Of course, if you purchased Uncharted 3′s Fortune Hunters Club DLC season pass, this DLC is free. For everyone else the ‘Flashback Map Pack’ will cost you $9.99.
“You’ll be getting the Cave, Fort, Lost City, and Sanctuary maps in this download pack. Dynamic lighting effects, new particle effects and a slew of technical changes have been made to these maps. The lighting was reworked from scratch. New textures and weather effects are apparent and freshly decorate all maps. We poured hours of development time into these maps to make them be really fun in the UNCHARTED 3 multiplayer ecosystem. This map pack is a taste of how far we can go to remix some of your favorite maps into a completely new UNCHARTED 3 gameplay experience.”

Sanctuary is my least favorite. Would have rather had any other stage.
I’m already downloading the pack. Seems like a good list of classic maps, but I just wish Village was included. My guess is that since Village was the most popular map in UC2, they’re going to do something special with it. Can’t wait for the future skin packs and Co-op Adventure DLC! Keep it up ND!

But sure enough there was GEARS OF WAR 3 !! Great action, great story, vastly superior graphics, great draw distances, superior multiplayer, running on the SUPERIOR Xbox 360.

I haven’t even touched the campaign in UC3 yet lol The online component is THAT GREAT! With that said, I will be getting this.
Hopefully they keep up the support. It great to see that Uncharted is now being known not just for a great singleplayer experience.
Not as much fun as gears of war 3 online, but i’ll check these out.
Game is decent in single player though despite the motion capture used on Drake making him look like a drunk staggering around half the time lol.

You should try Uncarted 3 online. Gears is my favourite for multiplayer (i loved gears 1, 2 was crap, 3 is good again.)
Gears is for my hardcore mp fix, but when i want to relax and have fun i play uncharted. its definitley one of the better mp’s out there.
Plus, that’s mainly drake responding to active environments. the motion capture in uncharted is great. better animation than gears 3 i’d say. the roadie running looks like a fat midget running on a hamster wheel lol.

I gotta be honest. I play a ton of online games, and this is straight out one of the funnest games online I’ve played in years. I’m not saying its game of the year online, but its very very fun. I enjoy it very much.
Looks like another set of fantastic maps for the 2011 GOTY. Uncharted 3 is the best MP I’ve played in a long time, its balanced, fun and actually runs without a problem all thanks to the superior PSN service.
If by superior, You mean having to drive to the bank and request a new credit card due to a month long hack with my information at risk, then yes. It’s far superior.
i wouldn’t talk about the hack. Xbox is ging through troubles right now so i’m to scared to log into xbox.com. Ms are being too slent with this shit. (why would they be refunding peoples money if it weren’t there fault? smells fishy).
The attack on sony was not just unfortunate for ps3 owners, but for gamers on a whole. less software sales happened during that month for playstation. if sony or ms lost crap loads of money, who would take advantage of this? I’m guessing those dirty bastards apple, who would make a gimmicky console for casuals with download games and apps only.
as long as both consoles are selling well (which they are) and are sellin games (which they are) that means more competition and more quality.

look whats out now. i was one of those people that said it would come back, and it did. just look at un2, mgs4, kz2. now its flourishing with exclusives that have very high quality.
uc3 have one of the best multiplayer-system i have seen so far
