What started with a few pictures from a alleged Best Buy employee has turned into an unofficial revealing of Assassin’s Creed III. Below is some newly acquired box art from Assassin’s Creed III — and these were officially released by Ubisoft.
That’s right, in response to the leaked Best Buy images, Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed III will take place during the American Revolutionary War and has released the box art from the game. Other then the main character tomahawk-ing a British soldier do you notice anything else on the box? Let us know below.

Please for the love of God Ubisoft, do NOT put any multiplayer (except mabye Co-op), and make sure the entire emphasis is on the single player and story. I hated Brotherhood, and didn’t even buy Revelations. Go back to the style of Assassins Creed II, and this will be a Day 1 buy. It does NOT need multiplayer.
While I rarely agree with you Diagmarine, I definitely agree that AC doesn’t need multiplayer (I didn’t even play them in brotherhood & revelations, I just focused on the single player campaigns). Co-op would be interesting if done right.
Well said. I LOVED AC II because it was an almost perfect game that had an amazing story that was fun to play.
Brotherhood and Revelations weren’t true AC games. I hope in AC III, they bring the true feel of an AC game.
