NetherRealm Studios, the makers of 2011′s fantastic Mortal Kombat, have announced a new fighting game based solely on the superheroes (and villains) of the DC Universe. Ryu Hayabusa returns to action next week when Ninja Gaiden 3 slices its way onto the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Shigeru Miyamoto has announced he will be stepping down from his current position as head of game design at Nintendo to work on smaller titles. Maiyamoto has created some of the most original and rich franchises the industry has ever seen with Super Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda being the most popular.
In a recent interview, Naughty Dog game director Justin Richmond gave his thoughts on the Wii U. While not completely sold on the system, Richmond said the Wii U is very, very cool and is interested in seeing how people will use the technology. Richmond also stated the Wii U has nothing that the PS3 and Vita doesn’t already have.
