SquareEnix and Crystal Dynamics have released a gorgeous new gameplay trailer from the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot. The game is set to release on March 5th, 2013 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Needless to say, the game is looking fantastic and we can’t wait to get back a Lara’s shoes. Watch it inside.
Tomb Raider fans expecting to go on a new adventure in 2012 are going to have to wait a little while longer. Studio head at Crystal Dynamics, Darrell Gallagher, has confirmed today the reboot of the Tomb Raider series has been pushed to 2013.
Crystal Dynamics has released a new trailer from their upcoming reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise. This one is more of a documentary (a twelve minute documentary that is) focusing on the game’s debut ‘Turning Point’ trailer, and how it was created with the help of acclaimed Japanese studio Visual Works (Square Enix’s very own CG cutscene expert). The Return of Lara Croft is something fans of the Tomb Raider series feel like has been taking forever, and it has. Well here’s some good news, Crystal Dynamics’ has released the debut trailer for Lara’s next adventure. The trailer, titled, “Turning Point” features no gameplay from the game at all, but instead, amazes us with some of the most outstanding CG we’ve ever seen. Watch it inside.
We have tracked down exactly what causes the graphical glitch in the Xbox 360 version of Tomb Raider Underworld. And guess what? It is also in the PlayStation 3. For those not up to speed here is the low down. In our Head2Head of Tomb Raider Underworld we reported that the Xbox 360 was missing effects (dynamic shadows, caustics and water effects) that were present in the PS3 version. And they were…until we played the game again. Sure enough, the missing visuals magically appeared on the Xbox 360. So what gives?
