Last week it was rumored that Team Ico boss, Fumito Ueda, was leaving Sony and would be finishing the project in freelance fashion. This rumor, although thought to be true, was never actually confirmed by Sony…until today.

Last Guardian creative lead, Fumito Ueda, resigned from Sony last week and will be finishing the highly anticipated project in a freelance capacity. Today it looks like Executive Producer, Yoshifusa Hayama will also be leaving the project…

In an interview with EDGE magazine, Last Guardian creative director (and main man over at Team ICO) Fumito Ueda said the game is “pushing PS3 to its limits”…
