Welcome back for another exciting Head2Head! This week put the squad based Binary Domain from SEGA under the Lens. Binary Domain is one of the first games being developed by the newly formed Ryu ga Gotoku Studio. The game was created by Toshihiro Nagoshi, who also happens to be the grand daddy of the incredible Yakuza series.
In the latest trailer for Sonic Generations we get to see some of our favorite levels from the original Sonic the Hedgehog remade in the Generations engine. We must say, this is the most hope we’ve had for the Hedgehog in quite some time. Sonic Generations is set for release November 2011 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo 3DS.
Without question, Treasure’s Guardian Heroes is one of the greatest and rarest games ever to grace the Sega Saturn. Trying to snag a copy now would easily cost you over $100.00, and unlike many rare old-school games, GH is actually worth it. Luckily for those who don’t own this one or, have never played it, an updated version will be available on XBLA this October.
Today was a good day for retro gaming fans. Earlier we found out Sonic CD will be coming to XBLA, now Sega has announced their classic Virtua Fighter franchise will be getting a new installment on both XBLA and PSN. There is a very oddly titled game series out there. It started out as “Mobile Light Force” and came out on PlayStation. It’s sequel, “Mobile Light Force 2″ came out for PS2. What is the game? Well you often hear, “Never judge a book by its cover,” but this is a Video Game. If you see 3 women wearing leather, shooting guns with robots flying around in a destroyed city, of course means its a game with a Blond Dude wearing a Jet-Pack, a Witch on a broomstick, and an old white bearded gay man in a foot peddle powered helicopter….

In Super Soldier, the Captain uses the Unreal Engine 3 to make his way around (always interesting). So hop in and see which version looks to be the true hero!
As Summer rolls on, so do super hero games based loosely on their Movie counterparts. Next on that list, Captain America: Super Soldier, published by Sega and due in stores tomorrow. Sega has just released a new Soinc teaser trailer via their Facebook page. What caught our attention was the fact that Sonic’s track appears to be the colored area in the level while, the surroundings looks quite plain. No word on whether it’ll be a downloadable title or a full retail release but the game will coming some time in 2011 for both PS3 and Xbox 360. Check out the teaser inside!
