Not to be outdone by Square Enix and their new, next-gen engine, Luminous Studio, Epic Games has released a tech demo to the public of their highly anticipated, Unreal Engine 4 in action. Check out the video after the jump.

Square Enix has revealed their new Luminous Studio game engine at a private E3 presentation Tuesday evening. The engine will be used to power the next generation of Square Enix games. Inside is the tech demo, titled, “Agni’s Philosophy: Final Fantasy”, and it was made entirely using Luminous Studio.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that sources close to Sony say the company did consider making the PlayStation 4 a download-only console, but ultimately decided against it due to Internet connections being “too inconsistent around the world”.

Details on Bungie’s next game have been revealed through documents from an Activision court case. The game is code named “Destiny”, and is a new science-fantasy, action shooter franchise.
