Doom 3: BFG Edition is set to launch on PlayStation 3 in October 2012, and brings with it the first two games in the iconic series. It means you’ll be able to play the entire Doom series on PS3 for the first time and see for yourself why many consider these games to be some of the most influential shooters of all time!

During Ubisoft’s E3 presentation yesterday, the company showed off a new and very impressive looking IP they’ve been working on. It’s called Watch Dogs and in it, you’ll play as a hitman. Gameplay will involve hacking various electronic devices; cell phones, cameras, and traffic lights in order to reach your target. Debut trailer inside.

Platinum Games sits down with GameTrailers to show off the controls for their upcoming game, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. You can no doubt see flashes of Vanquish and Bayonetta, both developed by Platinum, along with some of the gore of the Ninja Gaiden series in MGR:R. The game is set to be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 early 2013.

Ubisoft has announced that the first bits of DLC for their upcoming games, Assassin’s Creed 3, and Far Cry 3 will be available on the PlayStation 3 first as timed exclusive content.

During their E3 presentation tonight, Sony showed off a breathtaking gameplay demonstration from Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us. The game is looking mighty impressive but don’t take our word for it, jump inside and watch for yourself.

The next game from Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream has been officially announced by David Cage during Sony’s E3 press conference tonight. Today during various E3 press conferences, it has been revealed that DLC for the upcoming games Tomb Raider, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Resident Evil 6 and South Park: Stick of Truth, will be timed exclusives for the Xbox 360.

SquareEnix and Crystal Dynamics have released a gorgeous new gameplay trailer from the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot. The game is set to release on March 5th, 2013 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Needless to say, the game is looking fantastic and we can’t wait to get back a Lara’s shoes. Watch it inside.

Bethesda has released the debut gameplay trailer for the Arkane Studios-developed Dishonored. After watching, we have to say this might be our most anticipated game of the Fall. You can view the trailer after the jump. Dishonored will be released October 9th, on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Konami has officially announced Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 today. With the announcement comes the game’s debut trailer which features a familiar white haired man to Castlevania fans — Alucard, Dracula’s half human, half vampire son! LucasArts has announced a new game in the Star Wars universe. It’s called Star Wars 1313, and it will put gamers in the shoes of a bounty hunter in “the most dangerous place in the galaxy, 1313.” LucasArts is calling the game a third-person “cinematic” action adventure.
