According to a recent report, the Nintendo Wii U will have less power then both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. One developer even says the system just doesn’t have as many shaders to work with and “it’s not as capable”. More after the jump.

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata told reporters on Thursday that his company’s upcoming console, the Wii U, is still on track for a Holiday 2012 release. Iwata promises “sufficient software” will be available for the console at launch.
