Speculation on what system Halo 4 would be released on began back in June at E32011 when Microsoft unveiled the title through a teaser trailer. 343 made no mention of the game’s engine, leading many to believe it would be released on the next Xbox. Now, 343 Industries Frank O’ Conner put an end to those rumors.

During the closing moments of the Halo 4 panel at PAX, 343 Industries left attendees with a new Halo 4 trailer. While no gameplay or even actual screenshots were shown, it does show us what direction the new ‘Reclaimer Trilogy‘ is heading by revealing some concept art.
