“What A Horrible Night to Have A Curse” Welcome back all for another highly anticipated Head2Head. This week we take a look at Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Thanks once more to the folks over at Play N Trade, Oviedo, FL for supplying us our test copies. We were able to preview LOS at this years E3 conference, and ever-since we’ve really been looking forward to doing this Head2Head. Now that time has come and we finally get our chance to chain whip our way through hordes of vampires and werewolves to grant one version the title “Lord of Castlevania”.

Let us start by saying in no way does this very brief screenshot comparison represent the final version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Early yesterday the demo was released on Xbox Live, and made available for free to all European PSN members. From what we played at E3, we believe this is that same demo (which is pretty old). You can expect a full Head2Head with Analysis within the next few days on the final retail version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. With that being said, we just couldn’t help but try out these two demos while nabbing a few screen grabs of both along the way, just for fun of course.

A new trailer has been released for Konami’s upcoming Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. The trailer was first released with only Japanese text but has since been translated to English. Needless to say, in this “Hideo Kojima Special Edition Preview” the game looks better then ever. Check it out after the jump. Castlevania: Lords of Shadows will be released on October 5th for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

A new gameplay video has emerged for Konami’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. As shown in the video, the game is looking like it plays a bit like God of War 3 and Dante’s Inferno…which we believe is a good thing. Castlevania Lords of Shadow is due in stores on October 19th 5th for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Crack that whip after the jump!

Castlevania: Lords of Shadows – First Pics

For those of you who don’t want the traditional side scrolling Castlevania, Kojima has just the game you’re looking for. Castlevania: Lords of Shadows was shown off at E3 2010, and it was a floor stopper. The graphics were over the top with solid looking character models, great backgrounds, and some super nice weather effects.

E3 ‘09 – Castlevania Lords of Shadow Trailer

Konami has revealed a new Castlevania game, titled Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, at its E3 press conference. The game, which is being developed by Clive Barker’s Jericho creator Mercury Steam in collaboration with Kojima Productions, was first unveiled last year as Lords of Shadow.
