Well that didn’t take long! Less then a day has passed since principal engine programmer of the new Halo trilogy, Corrinne Yu, stated Halo 4 would be “the best looking game on Xbox and any other consoles we ever made”. Well, today Microsoft has decided to release the first ever in-game screenshots from Halo 4. Jump inside and you be the judge.
In case you were wondering if Master Chief would be getting a makeover in 343 Studios | Microsoft’s Halo 4, you can get a sneak peak at his newly announced (and awesome) action figure from McFarlane toys after the jump.
Speculation on what system Halo 4 would be released on began back in June at E32011 when Microsoft unveiled the title through a teaser trailer. 343 made no mention of the game’s engine, leading many to believe it would be released on the next Xbox. Now, 343 Industries Frank O’ Conner put an end to those rumors.
So Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 have finally been released, but there’s still one more FPS to be excited about this Holiday Season — Microsoft and 343′s Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. Apparently, the full fledged remake has been optimized for installation on your Xbox 360 HDD. Get the details inside.

During the closing moments of the Halo 4 panel at PAX, 343 Industries left attendees with a new Halo 4 trailer. While no gameplay or even actual screenshots were shown, it does show us what direction the new ‘Reclaimer Trilogy‘ is heading by revealing some concept art. 343 Industries has released a new behind the scenes trailer from Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition.
