Capcom has revealed the pricing of those 12 on-disc DLC characters that weren’t actually on-disc DLC characters, according to Capcom.
The 12 character DLC pack, which will cost $20 or 1600 Microsoft Points, will include — Blanka, Sakura, Guy, Cody, Elena, Dudley, Alisa, Bryan, Christie, Jack, Lars, and Lei. bundle. But it gets better.
Capcom has also announced there will be “SFxT Swap Costumes” that will allow Street Fighter characters to wear Tekken costumes, and vice versa. They will be available for $1 (800 MSP) each, or combined for $26 (2080 MSP). “This all begins on April 3 with Swap Costumes, color packs and quick combos, and then rolls out over the next several weeks.”
“I can’t wait to shell out another third of the total price to get another third of my game! It’s great that I have to wait till the end of the year!,” said one sarcastic fan.
“I know many were worried past character pricing would push the cost of this update sky high, so I’m happy to say [the DLC] will not break the bank,” Capcom said in their announcement.

Fuck Crapcom. That is all.
*facepalm* just…*facepalm*
Oh hahaha, so wait wait wait, instead of creating NEW costumes, they’re just gonna allow you to switch them between characters, BUT you have to pay for that privilege???
So not only are they charging you for characters that are already on disc, now they’re charging you for COSTUMES that are already on disc.
Bravo capcom, you have quickley risen to my most hated company in the gaming industry. EA has got NOTHING on crapcom.
if this were any other company they would have apologized when
the content became known and given the DLC away free as an apology.
capcom on the other hand denies any wrongdoing, then not only announces that the DLC will be $20 (to put it into perspective the expansion for Fallout 3 Point lookout ($10) added dozens of NPCs, new storylines and missions, new weapons and armor, and over forty new locations to explore.) and that they’ll be selling “crossover” costumes for a dollar each or 26 dollars for all of them. then as if that wasn’t bad enough they then had the balls to say that it was great value! for all of that DLC it’s 46 dollars! you’re better off just waiting for street fighter vs tekken turbo HD for $40 that will include all the DLC…
“Capcom, we own the rights to the games you love so we’ll make you pay for it!”
what an outrage
thank GOD I have a JTAG console
Yup!
fuck em and i didn’t buy their game nor Mass effect. I’m not stupid. we all know the quarter pounder with cheese extra bacon arcade super ultimate limited amazing edition is in the works too.
I have NEVER download a game from torrent. But I am PROUD to say that I’ll do it on Street Fighter X Tekken. FUCK U, CAPCOM
As if Capcom’s excuse for not having exclusive characters for the Xbox 360 (the PS3 got 4 or 5 exclusives if I’m not mistaken) was bad enough, they’re pulling this shit? It pissed off a bit that there was content on the Bioshock 2 disc that I had to pay for later as “dlc” but that was like $4. This is just an blatant insult to anyone who likes a Capcom game.
What is up with Capcom though? Not only are they fucking Capcom fans in the ass with no lube on this game, but they’re doing the same thing to PS3 fans with Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. They’re cutting out a WHOLE GAMEPLAY MODE (Nemesis Mode) to make it an Xbox 360 exclusive. There just went about 75% of their potential PS3 sales.
I wonder if Namco will fuck fans like this when they release Tekken X Street Fighter.
$20 for the PACK. It was the same with MvC3 costumes, $20 for the pack that came after releasing costume SETS every week for $4-5 each over the course of about 7 weeks with the discounted “complete pack” coming last. I’m sure they’ll drip the fighters out one at a time for a 100% markup and then, as they’ve said, the PACK will be $20 and probably available in late December as a “discounted holiday gift” from gracious Ca$hcom.
sooo.. the game should retail for $39.99
seeing how we already paid for the disc.
