Videogamer has confirmed that Ubisoft will keep Splinter Cell’s next game on the Xbox 360 only. Rumors began floating after Splinter Cell Conviction got delayed and the developers grew unusually quiet. One also rumor about online capabilites seems to have been squashed too.

That’s a shame I would really liked to play it on my PS3. But hey, maybe when I get a Xbox 360 I will get this game too. It all depends on the reviews it’s get, because the formula of this is Splinter Cell is different that the previous games. I hope it all works out and that will be a very good game, but we will have to wait for more information, trailers, screens, maybe a demo and the reviews before we now for sure.
Well Splinter Cell has always been Xbox exclusive so I thought this was the biggest non-surprise.
it wil come one day to our PS3.
I wanted to clarify my original statement. Splinter Cell has been exclusive since Xbox 360. I checked with one our local stores and there are Splinter Cell games on the PS2.
Well, I guess microsoft knows how to spend their money. They probably paid ubisoft big money.
well its some strategic thing to make people buy Xbox, thats why some games are exclusive for certain consoles.
