Sony has announced that their “Welcome Back” program officially kicked into gear yesterday. Although their have been reports of the PSN Store kicking people off, we think that’s to be expected due to the amount of traffic PSN is receiving. I mean, who doesn’t want their free stuff, right? Anyway, what games did you end up getting? Let us know below.
We’re so excited to welcome you back to PlayStation Network. With the PlayStation Store back online, we’ve been getting all caught up this week, having launched an abundance of amazing content for download on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable devices across games, movies, themes and DLC. Today, we’re excited to launch the Welcome Back program to thank you for your loyalty, and below, we’ve got what you need in order to get access to the included content. So, here’s a list of questions about the program. If you don’t see your question below, mention it in the comments and we’ll do our best to provide an answer. Thanks again for your patience and understanding as we restored the PlayStation Network and Qriocity services – your support has meant a lot to us and is greatly appreciated.
Q: What’s in the Welcome Back Program?
A: To start, all PSN members who had signed up before the outage (April 20, 2011) will be able to select two games for the PS3 system and two games for the PSP system.For PS3 owners, go to the ‘Welcome Back’ section in the PlayStation Store, and select 2 titles from the following list:
Dead Nation
inFAMOUS
LittleBigPlanet
Super Stardust HD
Wipeout HD + FuryFor PSP owners, go to the ‘Welcome Back’ section of PlayStation Store on your PSP system and select 2 titles from the following list:
LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
ModNation Racers
Pursuit Force
Killzone Liberation

i got, nothing.
besides the playstation plus free stuff, the games in the welcome back deal got lost. i picked the first ps3 game, then it went back, i picked the 1st psp game, then it went back, 2nd, game, etc..
they are not there. not in my download history, or account activity, nowhere. and if i go back to the welcome back screen all thats there to download is that stupid theme.
I’ve been hearing that from allot of people. When I do make the attempt to download, it will be Dead Nation for me, seeing how I already own inFAMOUS & LBP.
Just go to the game down loads and do the ones you did on the welcome back it acts like you purhased it so you can down load again.when I did wipe out all i got was the fury add on and i couldn’t go back to game one.
You can find it in account settings under subscription list or services I forgot what it’s called. Look it up!!
I got dead nation and wipeout.
Dead nation looks like a fun game, not tried wipeout yet.
For free i’m not complaining, although the store was hard to access yesterday with all its errors.

grow up ainsley, i may not like android and know hes a troll usually but he is right about the errors. i got one for most the day today and when i looked it up, it said the error was caused by an overload of ppl accessing PS store, that i can believe

Go Account Management-Tranction history-Download list and you’ll there to install your games.

On your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable navigate to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB
Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List

Wipeout HD + Fury and inFAMOUS. Luckily PS3 store didn’t work some time ago when I tried to buy Wipeout HD so now I got it for free. \o/
inFAMOUS seems to be a really great game at least as far as I’ve played it, haven’t relly tried Wipeout properly yet.
I got Wipeout HD and Super Stardust HD – those two games are really fun, colorful, fast paced, and exciting. What I particularly love is the soundtrack of Wipeout HD – nice licensed beats a plenty.
I got inFAMOUS,Dead Nation,Wipeout HD+Fury,Little big planet,Hustle Kings and Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty. Eventough most of the games look old, they are either fun or at least free! ; – ) For the Psp I got Pursuit Force and Killzone Liberation, and I don’t even have a psp! But I’m planning to buy the NGP, so thanks Sony!!!
I got LBP and Super Stardust HD, on my 2nd account Dead Nation and WipEout and since I already have inFamous
It was Dead Nation and Super Stardust HD for the PS3 games as I already had the others. On the PSP side I got Killzone: Liberation and Modnation Racers. Then I of course plan on getting the 100 Home items as well, even though I don’t use home free shit is free shit lol.
On a side note, was anyone else greaty disappointed in the “on us” movie selection? Way to drop the ball on that one Sony! I mean really Ghost Busters, Final Fantasy Spirits Within, and Bad Boys? Couldn’t you have chosen at least one title that was released in this decade that we havn’t all seen, or rather not see?
They made good on everything else so I’m not all that upset over it, but man when I saw that it made me scratch my head.

I downloaded “Assassin’s Need (L0VE T00)” and “Hey, Low Reach.”
“On us” was a joke; Sony should’ve just left that out. Jason you’re right, a movie within this decade would have been good…

Downloaded InFamous and Wipeout.
thankfully i have two psn accounts so on my second account i got super stardust hd, wipeout hd, mod nation racers psp, and the other psp game, and i also got plus and downloaded sonic and well basically every free game, theme, and avatar they offer, but on my main account i got infomus, dead nation, killzone liberation, and little big planet psp, im saving my free plus on my main account until july 3 when the program shuts down, that way i will have 60 days of free plus
MY PSN account is still causing me problems. Luckily for me I downloaded all the free Plus stuff + Dead Nation which is the only free Welcome Back game I don’t own before my PSN account started to play up.
waiting for inFamous & LBP as I type. I also got Burnout Paradise using the 30 day free Plus offer. Will only work for 30 days though. What a cheap way of getting more people to sign up for Plus. Offer it to everyone for 30 days, with some free downloads for the duration of your membership. Come on Sony, don’t try to eventually profit from this.
