Today, the official Twitter account of Bethblog Tweeted that PlayStation 3 gamers experiencing lag issues can expect a fix this month. As you know, when PS3 save files begin reaching around 10 MBs in size some players may encounter horrible frame rate drops rendering the game nearly unplayable. This fix has been in the works for a while, and as you can see in the Tweet below, should be ready for download this month.

Yeah, didn’t they “address” it awhile ago? Yet I’m still playing Skyrim: Slideshow Edition.
Lag, shorter draw distnaces, glitchy frame rates, blurry anti aliasing techniques…Too bad for the overpriced internet ready blu ray player camp. I’ve been playing this with flawless performace on the Superior 360 and enjoying it fully with great draw distances, very stead frame rates, sharp textures, wow this game is still blowing my mind on the Superior Xbox 360.

You want ways to defend the PS3? OK, how about the fact that online is free, or the fact that it has games like Uncharted 3 or God of War 3 and many others that the 360 has yet to match after years of the games being released. Hey, here’s another good one, PS3 uses blu-ray rather than the old DVD, so it never needs more than one disc.

I have the game on Xbox360 but I am glad that the PS3 version will be fixed.
Ha, flawless performance. That’s a good one. The game has technical issues on all platforms, so don’t act like the 360 version is perfect because it’s not.
Oh, and didn’t John Carmack complain about the extra discs that Rage needed for the 360? Yeah, the game wasn’t even that good, was it?

I love how you think the xbox 360 is the best console ever made.
Don’t get me wrong I love both the consoles and respect them but look at the facts.PS3 exclusives look and perform way better than xbox 360 exclusives(both consoles are really far from perfect tho), and now developers are learning how to properly use the ps3 hardware and making the ps3 the lead console like what happened in battlefield 3.Now I dont think John Carmack is a good source.Rage is their first entry in this generation so they dont know shit about this generation so stop quoting that dinossaur and go learn why devs have trouble with the ps3 and you should realize that the ps3 hardware is indeed better.(i’m not saying the xbox360 hardware is crap , as i love how gears of war 3 looks)

John Carmack isn’t a good source????? ROFL Developer of one of the most advanced 60fps engines EVER (Rage Engine Id tech 5). Listen to his keynote speech where he (an actual engine developer and not a member of the Sony Defense Force like your self) explains the many problems with the over priced internet ready blu ray player’s RAM architecture, and IFERIOR rasteriser (GPU just for clarification there Sony Defense Force member), and the INFERIOR seek times of the mighty blu ray drive that pushes developers to require a M A N D A T O R Y install of their games. Yeah I’d say he’s a great source because he actually develops game engines and isn’t afraid to tell the actual truth about the over priced internet ready blu ray player’s INFERIORITY when compared the SUPERIOR gaming machine Xbox 360.

Once this patch comes out, The PS3 version will no doubt be the best version available with its superior textures, faster loading and the fact that it will be played with the superior dualshock controller ona machine that wont break down every five minutes.
The way Todd allows crap to race to the store shelves, we as consumers would like to pay 10 $ for a game. Then pay 10 $ for the subsequent updates. This happiness for them at release day at let down for us needs to stop immediately. Good money for incomplete products can be shoved up the publishers ass. And that’s putting it nicely.

SKYRIM!!!! i want to know about these patches 1.2 & 1.3. are they automatic, cause ive searched web and my ps3 where do i go to download these patches if decided to.. especially the 1.4 coming up. PLEASE HELP!!
Hey Slynn, thanks for commenting. Just sign onto PlayStation Network and begin playing Skyrim. The update will occur automatically.
