Clues to what Bethesda has in store for us in terms of Skyrim DLC may have been revealed in the game’s latest update. A Bethesda forum user has taken a closer look at the latest patch files (1.5.26) and uncovered a few with some very interesting file names.
The first list you see below looks to make reference to the Snow Elf Prince. Snow Elves were a race of elves thought to be the first inhabitants of Skyrim. After a losing battle with the Ancient Nords, the Snow Elves retreated underground where they found refuge with the Dwemer. The Dwemer then betrayed the Elves — force-feeding them a toxic fungi that inflicted blindness — and in short, turned them into the vile Falmer. If true, whatever path Bethesda takes to get the Snow Elf Prince into Skyrim should be interesting.
The second list looks to make blatant references to crossbows. Any new weapons for Skyrim would be a welcome addition so you won’t see us complaining here. New Vampire animation files were also found in the latest patch. To view the original post, head over to the BethBlog. While this is only a rumor until Bethesda officially announces something, files with the name DLC01\Chair_SnowElfPrinceDialogueA look to pertain to something important. And we can’t wait to find out just what it is.

I love crossbows, and I don’t care about the Falmer at all.
You don’t, but I do. Isn;t it interesting how the Snow Elves populated almost all of Skyrim but then the Dwemer came and made them slaves, while they promissed to help them instead. Long after the disappearance of the Dwemer, the Falmer were born. They’re basically Snow Elves adapted to Underground conditions. I’d love to see a DLC linked to this whole story about the Dwarves and the Snow Elves. CAN’T WAIT!
Skyrim was the most boring and overrated game I’ve ever played.
Yes, the games fun parts, i.e. the combat that you see in the trailors and video reviews are just really are that uninspiring and dull.
You spend most of your time engaged in drudgery looking for some fun, but not really finding any when the “fun” part come.
For all those people who enjoy the game, they fail to tell you all the hours of drudgery they have to put into the game to experience a little but of fun.
Unless you want to spend hours and hours of drudgery just to experience a little fun, then don’t play this game. You’ll have a much better time playing almost anything else without all the drudgery and bordemn.
