Two classic Resident Evil Games will be making their way to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the future. The two game’s will also be remastered when they do show up. The two games are Resident Evil Code: Veronica Director’s Cut and Resident Evil 4. The package will be titled Resident Evil Revival.
andriasang is reporting;
“Both versions will appear in “HD remastered” form. The magazine apparently shows comparison pics between the two versions. For Resident Evil 4, the magazine confirms that the game will include Ada Wong’s The Another Order scenario. Release date and pricing are TBA.”
Great news for Resident Evil fans! Details are scarce right now but we’ll keep you updated as they come in.

I would rather see 1,2 and 3 remastered because code Veronica and 4 still don’t look too bad if you play them on dreamcast or gamecube or ps2.
Hey scorpius45, I hear you on that, these two do look pretty good as they are, but check out these pics of RE4 on the Dolphin emulator.

I’d love for all the RE’s to look like that. I can’t forget about the Original remade on the Gamecube, it still looks great and is probably my favorite RE of all time.
Man, Code: Veronica was the first Resident Evil game that I play. Well, after dying around ten times, I got frustrated and never touch it again. It wasn’t until the last 3-4 years or so that I’m finally interested in the series.
Anyway, I wonder what kind of “HD remastered” is this going to be? We’re talking about up-scaling and revamp into wide-screen perspective like how God of War Collection and The Sly Collection were or will it also have textures upgraded like The Tomb Raider Trilogy. Personally, I want both games to remade into something similar Resident Evil 5 (its incredibly beautiful graphics, I mean.)
I 100% agree Bloodios, RE5 was awesome looking. When I first started the game I was blown away with how real it looked. It was literally scary it looked so good. Unfortunately, the gameplay just couldn’t touch 1 – 4 IMO ( or CV). As for these two remakes, I’m hoping we get both, new textures and widescreen. Now that would be amazing.
Yeah, unfortunately the gameplay can’t match the evolution of the graphics.
Anyway, widescreen will happen without saying of course, but what I desire is an upgrade for environment, lighting, models, basically everything. I supposed that sounds a bit too expensive but Capcom should have enough of in their budget to make these two titles as close to Resident Evil 5 as possible.
I also want Resident Evil Zero to be a part of the remastered titles but that’s just impossible.
Code Veronica and RE4 are good games but not the RE titles I would have chosen to remaster for next gen consoles. Personally I’v been dying to see RE2 redone ever since the Gamecube remake of the original Resident Evil.
This will be mine. I’ve been looking for an HD version of RE4 since I got my first HDTV. Code Veronica was awesome on the Dreamcast, so that will be a welcome bonus as well.
Remove RESIDENT EVIL 4 and do with Resident 1(can be the Resident Evil Remake better of Wii/GameCube), 2 or 3, Code Veronica maybe….but Resident 4 is good enough, have on Game Cube, Wii, PS2 and PC.
P.S: I prefer Resident Evil 2 REVIVAL!!!
Why the hell can’t they leave RE:4 alone? I would rather see a remastered RE:2 and 3 than anything else.
I do have to admit that having a remastered RE:CV would be nice, but I remember playing it on the Dreamcast and it would feel somewhat sacrilegious on the PS3 or 360.
If only Capcom would release a CPS1/CPS2 collection/compilation. I would give to see X-men:CotA, Marvel Super Heroes, X-men vs SF, MSH vs SF, and MvC1 on one disc. Even having some games like Black Tiger, Magic Sword, Side Arms, D&D Shadow Over Mystaria, and D&D Tower of Doom would be better than rehashing the RE franchise- which was done to death on the the Gamecube and Wii.
Just my 2¢.
I think resident evil 5 get’s a lot of flak because dead space had a FAR superior control set up. I remember making the mistake of playing dead space FIRST, and then resident evil 5. I almost didn’t finish RE5 because I felt the controls were so awful after playing dead space. I kept trying to make chris manuever like isaac but it just wasn’t working.
It’s amazing how awesome it is just to be able to simply walk, aim, and shoot at the same time. Also, dead space all around, seemed to just be a much more original, and enjoyable game. Better controls, better monsters, better weapons, better atmosphere, better story, etc etc.
