Fable series creator Peter Molyneux has announced he will be leaving Microsoft and Lionhead Studios to become creative director at new company 22 Cans.
“It is with mixed emotions that I made the decision to leave Microsoft and Lionhead Studios, the company that I co-founded in 1997, at the conclusion of development of Fable: The Journey,” Molyneux said in a statement provided to Kotaku.
Molyneux then Tweeted – “I have left the lovely amazing Microsoft and Lionhead. Now for something really amazing, scary and brave a new company called 22 Cans.”
In a statement, Microsoft said, “As co-founder of Lionhead and an integral part of Microsoft Studios, Peter was the creative visionary behind the blockbuster Fable franchise, and one of our most passionate and influential developers for the Xbox 360 platform. He has made an indelible mark on the games industry and we wish him all the best of luck in his future endeavors.”

He looks like he’s 80 in this picture. Maybe he should leave Lionhead Studios to become a creative director at a retirement home. Then all his empty promises won’t matter cus all the other senior citizens will forget he ever made them lol
Hideo Kojima its now up to you.
Lionhead was always a company good at raising expectations to an unrealistic high and ending up disappointing the gamers.
Bullfrog was a great company, though
As an xBox 360 fan I don’t give a damn. Your games looked amazing on paper, but I haven’t finished a single one (except those olders – Syndicate, Dungeon Keeper and Populous (spelling?), but they weren’t for xBox).
