Well, Nintendo’s E3 press conference is come and gone and while the company has updated their Wii U site with some specifics, the details on the console’s graphics card, processor and price are still a mystery.
As you can see below, all we know from the updated Wii U spec sheet is that Nintendo will use an “IBM Powered multi-core” CPU and “AMD Radeon-based high definition” GPU to power the console. We think a lot of people were hoping to see the actual speed of the CPU and/or the amount of RAM the GPU will hold. Looks like we’ll have to wait a while longer for that information.
The Wii U will launch this Holiday, although a solid date and price have also yet to be revealed. We’ll let you know when they are.

Hopefully it’s design will attract 3rd party developers. If it will be simple, yet more powerful than the current consoles, it will allow for easy and proper porting.
They’re playing it just like they did with the Wii. This thing will sell like hot cakes. Then it’ll peter out just like the the Wii. But before that happens it’ll make Nintendo a fortune…again…

c’mon guys you said you work in the industrie so you can’t get any info about it
TGS or Gamescom maybe?
I have the specs right here”it has a Bowser and his family cpu along with 1000 mario’s of ram and a Yoshi soundblastr card along with a princess peach blu ray drive;}AWSOME!eheheh
I thought it was a hero of time cpu….
isn’t the IBM Power line the same line of CPUs that Orbis and Durango are expected to have? it’ll be interesting to see which one each system will take out of that line…
Don’t have a clue about all this tech talk but the zelda hd demo looked incredible! Hopefully they’ll actually do it in that artstyle and not pull another wind waker on us. NOT that wasn’t a phenomonal game but it was a bit dissapointing seeing that tech demo when the gamecube was coming out and then they released wind waker. Personally i think they should stick with the artstyle that was at that demo cuz it just looks like zelda. I don’t think that skyward sword’s artstyle captured what zelda is(like a lot of people believe). Zelda is a bit more serious than skyward sword looked but not as dead-serious as twilight princess went for. That’s why i think that the wii u demo’s artstyle is perfect for zelda!
