Ryu Hayabusa returns to action next week when Ninja Gaiden 3 slices its way onto the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Despite the fact that we’ve heard the game only features one, non-upgradable weapon to wreak havoc with, as well as regenerating health after every battle, we can’t wait to play it. Official launch trailer below.
“Featuring a new story, new gameplay and new modes, Ninja Gaiden 3 marks a new direction in this fan-favorite franchise. Team NINJA will change the way fans think about ninja and Hayabusa in this game, and promise that they’ll know what it feels like to “cut someone down” through their experiences in the game. The game will also feature online multiplayer, both co-op and competitive, that will add a completely new experience to Ninja Gaiden. The shadowy world of ninja has never been presented this way, and Ninja Gaiden will never be the same!”

This game does look pretty awesome. Also, is the sheath of his sword wrapped in human skin at :55?? If so that’s nasty, but cool.
This game is going to be a big big failure
ZOLRAK”Why do you say that?from my experience of all the ninja gaiden games they been pretty good fun to play,ok maybe there not everyones kinda game but to say its gonna be a big fail is a bit harsh i think as i for one am looking forwards to playing it”maybe you will change your mined when and if you play it.
I’m one of those that think that since Itagaki left Team Ninja, it won’t be the same again. I’m a fan of NG and DoA, but without Itagaki, and since I first saw the multiplayer video of this game i could only think “What the ****”, but, oh well, I’ll have to give it a try before I say it’s bullsh*t, who knows, maybe I like it after all.
One thing, where are all the bits and pieces of corpses flying around? I was hoping that at least he cut off in half one of those soldiers, or at least an arm or leg… We’ll see what this new NG brings…
BTW, DoA 5 isn’t looking bad at all.
