The new DLC for Killzone 2,”Steel and Titanium” was detailed at playstation.com. The details inlcude the release date (April 30), price ($5.99), and a juicy new trailer (below). In other Killzone 2 news a new patch 1.24 has been announced 2 at blog.us.playstation.com. Click the link for some details on this large patch.

Can’t wait. New maps are always good to have. I was kinda hoping this would be free, but I have no problem with supporting GG and buying it anyway
I agree. However, I would be happy to give Guerilla money for this awesome DLC and game.
I’m really looking forward to the wasteland map. The fact that its a moving train and the environments can be hazards sure is interesting. Although I can also see how that can be irritating. April 30th needs to come sooner. >_<
Yeah, that map looks amazing. The moving train level was easiest one of the best levels in the campaign. It’ll be interesting to see how GG converted it into a MP map…
Yeah I agree. Wasteland looks really awesome.
Unfortunately this game needs more than a patch. How about a map that looks different from the others?
The next set of map packs will be retro, from Killzone 1. Since Killzone 1 took place on Earth, the maps will probably be more vibrant and lush (like the jungle levels).
Besides, not all the KZ2 maps look alike anyway…

There are also rumors of this DLC providing seperate trophies with it, so that’ll be cool.
There are 12 new trophies that involve this DLC support. They came in the patch that was released today.
