*To ensure color accuracy from the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U output, the PlayStation 3 has RGB Full Range set to "Full" and Super White "On", and the Xbox 360 has Reference Level set to "Expanded" and HDMI Color Space set to "RGB". Our capture card we have captured segments from the AVS HD 709 . Blu-ray, HD DVD, & MP4 Calibration suite.
As you will see, each system matches each other at the SOURCE LEVEL. No contrast or gamma settings are manipulated before or after capturing our images/videos. We strongly believe that these types of corrections are done on a individuals preference and should not be adjusted by us. Finally, washed out looking images that are due to contrast or gamma differences will not have any influence on our final verdicts. No doubt a ps3 win, saw it a while ago on Eurogamer.
The screentearing kills the 360 version, if it were the ps3 version tearing like that they’d be hundred’s of posts slamming lazy programmers, sloppy port etc
This is an embarrassment compared to the mighty halo 4.
Yeah, as far as technical achievement goes, Halo 4 definitely is amazing, seeing that it was perfect in almost every way (there are still, of course, rooms for nitpick.)
it’s amazing what happens when devs put effort into a particular version of game, but less into other eh?
MOH is actually a pretty damn good looking game
Defo a solid PS3 win no doubt. Typical Xbot response, “when all else fails, refer to Halo”.
Just a shame the game is uninspiring, re-hashed rubbish. (just like Halo 4, which I have.)
Talking of rehashing samchez, you’d better stay away from the new god of war game on ps3 next year then.
We know that’s going to be more of the same
lmao. Well played Android. Well played.
Halo 4 and God of War Ascension maybe re-hashed but far from rubbish. Well I’m assuming GOW:A will be amazing like previous GOW games.
It will be. Just like Halo 4 is. I’m looking forward to the multi-player more than anything!
and you know why ps3 users would complain ?
it’s because we always get the ‘short end of the stick’ and i wouldn’t be surprised to see the gamestop review of moh be on the xbox and saying there are no issues
face it everyone loves products made in they’re own country and that’s why my brother loves Serious Sam
Halo 4 had to make cutbacks on texture detail.I agree tho Halo 4 is amazing looking game.If devs can’t get the Ps3 version running par with the 360..yes devs are lazy.
@Lens of Truth
I would like you guys to provide a Heads Up for the DmC demo that is coming out later today. I mean, screenshot comparison is nice and all but performance analysis is just as important. I mean no disrespect but these days, it usually take quite a while for you guys to provide us with a performance analysis. I personally wouldn’t want to wait till the game launches then wait even more for a performance analysis. So, with that said, please analyze the performance of the demo so at least there is going to be something to work with when the game launches in January.
You do know it’s Medal of Honor, not “Metal”?
LOL Whoops! Embarrasing type-o for LOT!
Damn, I was hoping no one pointed it out when I read it. LOL
Ill wait to see if it gets Wii U port. If it doesnt i wont lose sleep over it….well not with that amount of tearing anyway.
Wii UMAD?
360 version looks better.
You are clearly blind.
I call BS. $ony is obviously paying off these reviewers to favor the PS3 version. Very low class move…even for $ony.
Sometimes I wonder how many 360 fanboys and their tears it takes to flood the Earth. If the 360 was the one being stomped on mulitplats and sales this gen, the end of the world would have been here so much sooner.
So, so sad. Poor Xbox 360.
Performance PS3 for sure, but the screenshots look better on 360.
I didn’t expect to see such big of a difference in regards to performance in favor of the PS3. It seems that the Frostbite 2 engine is very good in using its architecture. I think it has to do with the heavy emphasis on post processing filters which the PS3 is good at because of the PPU of the Cell processor. Any way, if you don’t hate tearing the performance is still pretty good on the Xbox 360 so no shame in picking up that version.
CHEAP CHILDRENS DVD PLAYER gets another spanking!
Getting more and more regular!
Games that actually use advanced engines are always better on PS3.
Simple rushed poorly optimised old creaky engines are better for the CHEAP CHILDRENS DVD PLAYER – eg COD!!!
ps3 version looks better.
