Ninja Gaiden 3 PS3 vs. Xbox 360 Analysis Video

Conclusion: The conclusion of this Head2Head is pretty straight forward.  While performance was a case where nothing was consistent for either version and load times were very close and rather quick on both versions, the visual quality of the game is what sets the two apart.  With a sharper image, extra detail, and softer shadows there is little doubt that the PS3 version received the most polish this time around.  The 360 did have a slight advantage in Anti Aliasing, but the differences were small.  When everything is weighed together, the PS3 version would be the one to buy if you had the choice.

This one was easy, it’s the PS3 which slices it’s way to the winners circle. Honestly, I expected a better port for the Xbox considering the track record. Anyhow, with out question I’ll be picking this up for the PS3 and I recommend you do the same!

This time around I’m going with the PS3. Hands Down, the PS3 version looks better.  I’ll probably pass on this but if I were to buy it, the PS3 would be the one to get!

It is gonna have to be the PS3 version for me.  Both versions performed similarly, but there is no doubt the PS3 version looks better.

*To ensure color accuracy from the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U output, the PlayStation 3 has RGB Full Range set to "Full" and Super White "On", and the Xbox 360 has Reference Level set to "Expanded" and HDMI Color Space set to "RGB". Our capture card we have captured segments from the AVS HD 709 . Blu-ray, HD DVD, & MP4 Calibration suite.

As you will see, each system matches each other at the SOURCE LEVEL. No contrast or gamma settings are manipulated before or after capturing our images/videos. We strongly believe that these types of corrections are done on a individuals preference and should not be adjusted by us. Finally, washed out looking images that are due to contrast or gamma differences will not have any influence on our final verdicts.
