we all know that “MLB 12 the show” will blow both out of the water in graphics, gameplay, and features
@ARBITOR365 Yeah CRYING1999 can’t say nothing…Even MLB 11 The Show blows these graphics out of the water..The Power of The CELL and Blu-ray
MLB11 The Show’s graphics already blow it out of the water. In my opinion, I don’t like MLB12 The Shows graphics over MLB11 The Show. While MLB12 the player models look ever so slightly better, the spectators look worse quality and there seem to be less random that you see more duplicates in a smaller area.
The quality of the players of spectators seem to clash and while it essentially is a better looking game, downgrades it and makes it look more unrealistic because of it.
There are now eight different pitching and hitting mechanics though, so more ways to play MLB12 The Show than any other baseball game. It’s the definitive baseball game for the enthusiast interested in both gameplay and graphics.
If you don’t care about rosters and just want a great baseball game that will stand the test of time. You probably already own Ken Griffey Jr. Winning Run on the SNES. Great graphics, great gameplay. If you don’t own Ken Griffey Jr Winning Run, then just pick up the latest The Show once it hits $10 or less. It’s the best baseball experience you’ll find this gen that’s for sure.
meh. Another American sports game. As usual the Xbox looks sharper but with more jaggies (especially the shadows). Not enough crowd detail on the PS3. I think Xbox looks better in these static screen shots, but thats not surprising.
yeah , who cares about baseball
football is the real sport (no i dont mean american handeggball)
wtf’s wrong with 2k sports, after over 5 years they still make PS2 level graphics for PS3 version
I’m sure this game will get SOME attention by offering another $1 million contest. lol
Alas, games like this further validates the fact that PS3 exclusives are the way to go.
Shadows on the PS3 version look a bit better, but the 360 version has better lighting and is more eye-pleasing overall. However, I won’t be picking this one up anyway… I feel like people who buy these kind of games generally play games I hate so I am positive I will not be picking this one up, or any other sports game for that matter.
So, the PS3 version went from noAA to QAA…great…
Come on, Visual Concepts! It’s already 2012! Start using post-process AA, please.
MLB2K12 looks like crap for both systems. Looks like ass on the PS3 in comparison to the 360 version, but the 360 version looks like ass compared to The Show. Even max settings on last years MLB2K PC version looks like garbage compared to last years The Show.
XBOX360 looks way better …
jeez these both look poor, but the ps3 version is like a throwback to the old days of ports. truly shoddy, even if it’s functional and wouldnt ruin enjoyment of game
Ok. Who is voting for PS3 here? Are you joking the PS3 shots look like crap. 360 all the way.
where’s crying1999
