Conclusion: In the end the game can be well enjoyed by both consoles.   The performance was pretty much the same and load times had no real difference either.  Still one version stands above the other when it comes to the visuals.  The 360 had handled SSAO and lighting far better than the PS3 version and just looks better overall.  No one can deny that a horror game is supposed to be dark and spooky and the shadows even complimented the detail presented by the textures in 360 version, even if both versions had identical textures overall.  Both can be enjoyed, but the 360 is definitive this time around.

PS3 - Win Both versions had the same detail put into it for the most part, but the shadows and lighting of the 360 version is what sealed the deal. Xbox 360 - Win

PS3 - Win Performance was close, perhaps to close to call.  With both versions doing such a good job, neither version will disappoint in this area. Xbox 360 - Win

PS3 - Win Load times ended in a tie through and through.  Not much else can be said on the topic. Note, no install required. Xbox 360 - Win

PS3 - Win The victor of this H2H is clearly the 360 version.  Both versions were same for the most part, but the slight visual advantages of the 360 version impacted in a big way. PS3 - Win

The rollovers say it all. Although both were on par with texture resolution the Xbox’s shadows sealed the deal. This round goes to the 360 for sure! Xbox 360 - Win

This was another easy pick for me. The proof is right there in the post. The shadows and look just made the Xbox stand out that much more. For me it’s the 360 hands down. PS3 - Win
Jaime “…Xbox stands out that much more
If both versions are the same for the most part, but one looks spookier than the other, then I’m going for the spooky version.  I mean this is a horror game after all. PS3 - Win
Jason R “…It is supposed to be scary…
