Head2Head

Welcome back all, and happy New Year. Its been a while for sure but we’ve been hard at work configuring our hardware to capture the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But honestly that’s just the tip of the ice burg, One of our staff added a new addition to his family, we’ve restructured the site multiple times, and of course day to day life has its hurdles. But not once have we forgotten about you, our fans, nor have we lost focus about the “Truth”. Although we’ve lost some great fans, staff and friends along the way, our New Year’s resolution is to reconcile our promise to you, with the latest, news, reviews and most of all Head2Heads.

With that said, a long over due Screenshot Comparison of Battlefield 4 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is finally here. Although we didn’t have the time to do our full in-depth analysis, we are preparing to bring back more of the technical difference in our articles really soon. Fortunately, the differences we found this time around are easily seen in our rollovers and may just set the stage for what the future of most screenshot comparisons to come! Lets hope not, but either way Enjoy.

*To ensure color accuracy from the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U output, the PlayStation 3 has RGB Full Range set to "Full" and Super White "On", and the Xbox 360 has Reference Level set to "Expanded" and HDMI Color Space set to "RGB". Our capture card we have captured segments from the AVS HD 709 . Blu-ray, HD DVD, & MP4 Calibration suite.

As you will see, each system matches each other at the SOURCE LEVEL. No contrast or gamma settings are manipulated before or after capturing our images/videos. We strongly believe that these types of corrections are done on a individuals preference and should not be adjusted by us. Finally, washed out looking images that are due to contrast or gamma differences will not have any influence on our final verdicts. Please Read through our F.A.Q page if you have any questions or concerns.*
