EA and Visceral are adding more talent to the team behind the Dead Space franchise.
Arjan Brussee, who co-founded Guerrilla Games in 2003, is leaving the company to take an executive producer position at Visceral Games, according to a report from Control-Online. Brussee was previously the executive producer on all three Killzone titles.
“It has been a great ride. Every year there was something ambitious, new and inspiring to put my energy into,” Said Brussee. “For me, I now want to find a new personal challenge, which I hope to find at EA, and who knows where this will take me next.”

Good luck Brussee, great job with the Killzone franchise. I hope you make the next Dead Space game that much better.
NNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Don’t join evil EA!! Oh this is just great!
Man, the over priced internet ready blu ray player developers are jumping to mult-console faster than you can say Sony Defense Force.LOL
Can’t really blame the ICO team, Guerilla, and the Resistance team for jumping at the chance to make games for the SUPERIOR dedicated gaming console Xbox 360. Now they’ll actually get to make games on a machine with a modern GPU, much fewer RAM constraints, smaller OS footprint, and no mandatory installs required. The experience that these guys have making games on the resource starved INFERIOR over priced internet ready blu ray player will help them reach their true potential in developing games on the SUPERIOR hardware of the Xbox 360.
“Xbox 360 is the BEST console EVER made.” –John Carmack
This isn’t about console superiority dumbsh*t. Its about losing good developers to a completely greedy and shady company. Have you ever thought once before posting?
@ BUYING1999
Do you even know what you talk about? You have very limited knowledge of gaming if you believe what you stated as truth. First of all… the co founder of Guerilla is leaving, and ONE of the head designers of Team ICO has departed… the studios themselves are still first party studios to Sony. Second, Insomniac was NEVER a first party studio, they were a second party studio whose only ties to Sony was their decision.
When it comes to first party studios and exclusives, perhaps you should concern yourself with you particular console of choice — the Xbox 360. They have lost the core developers for 2 of their 3 major, exclusive franchises — Halo and GeoW. Only time can tell if 343i can actually make a standalone, new Halo game with the same quality as Bungie (and not a remake i.e. Halo: CEA).
^ Well said mate. Buying1999 gets owned again. As usual.
BUYING1999 this guy is a PS3 fanboy. the true lies. My son is also from 1999 and is mutch smarter than you, he plays all consoles and enjoy them all.
Mike EA is awesome so shut it Actvision is evil =D
Yay EA is awesome. Day 1 DLC and they wanted people to pay for Demos, plus they shut down game servers. YAY good ol EA.
Its dumb f^&ks like you that feed EA this shit. They only care about their shareholders, as do activision, but the fact you are picking a side shows how retarded you are. i take it you like bending over in front of big hairy men and let them f*&k your ass just like EA do?
seriously, the fact that someone who worked on a masterpiece like killzone 2/3 is woerking for EA is shameful.
a lot of killzones staff have went off to other companies. they are sought after, as many shooting companies would love to have someone who worked on the best console fps graphics games.
tbqh the only companies that seems to have any interest in the core gamer is Sony, and valve. Most other publishers bring out less than par games and I am getting a little tired with fps’s too. I want more games like heavy rain and alan wake.
@DMANKILLA
Agreed. Sony and valve have been the only notable ones that keep pumping out AAA titles.
Heavy Rain is absolutley wonderful. Alan Wake and Heavy Rain in my top 5 games this gen.
Dissapointed Remedy couldn’t make max payne 3, i have no interest in it now, ever since i saw what rockstar did to it.
Its almost like rockstar have to have gangsters and ho’s in their games, it gets tiring.
Arjan Brussee, thank you give us a good memories of Killzone series and supporting Ps3 .
I hope you can help visceral game improve Dead space 3
