We all know Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception looks incredible, and here’s just one of the many reasons why — outstanding motion capture technology. In the game’s latest trailer, Naughty Dog and company give fans a behind the scenes look at the incredible process.

if you think uncharted is gonna get GOTY then your deluded, on the metacritic its between, batman, portal but i think elder scrolls is going to scoop it easily this year, personally dark souls has been my favourite game this year.

Ever wonder why 360 multiplatform games sell better than their POS3 counterparts? It’s because more people own 360′s. It has outsold the PeeS3 by a large margin here in the states. How will Gears of Fail 3 be GOTY except for the Xbox Section but there they will probably choose some Multiplat like Batman haha

@subsenix, You got that right man. Uncharted 3 beats gears of fail 3 in EVERY-SINGLE-WAY. That gorefest of a game got old/boring as soon as it came out. Uncharted 3 ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!
gears has a much better multiplayer than uncharted with dedicated servers, the story supports 4 player co-op also. uncharted will be good for single player but gameplay wise it seems linear and to scripted. platforming is one path no thought process needed at all. xbox has a large english speaking community so there is more competition as you get more teams communicating with each other, thats why xbox appeals to people that actually care about competing on games. if your japanese or german buy a ps3 if your english speaking buy an xbox simple as.
Gears is a great series but imo Uncharted is a better game. My questions are, what in the world do you have against Uncharted? and why are you even looking at this article?
At least Uncharted has variety which even though I love Gears it plain and simple has nothing of it apart from weapon choice.
Take it from someone who has both Uncharted 3 and Gears 3(yes i have Uncharted 3, I got it early from the AMC event). After playing through both games twice i can say for a fact that Uncharted 3′s campaign destroys Gears 3′s campaign. I loved every second of Uncharted 3. Gears 3 was mostly getting annoying and i wanted it to be over so i could jump into multiplayer. Every one should get the chance to experience Uncharted 3, xbox, PS3 fanboys and even WII fanboys need to play this game.

Just to put in perspective how good Uncharted is….I was an xbox fanboy, anti ps3 all that jazz, UNTIL I played my brothers copy of Uncharted 2 while he was at school, and later that day I went out and bought a ps3 and Uncharted 2. THAT’S HOW GOOD PLAYSTATION EXCLUSIVES ARE. So to all xbox owners I say…Don’t knock it until you try it.
Very bold of you to say but I don’t understand the whole console wars considering they both share similar hardware specs. I only own a PS3 but would love to own a XBOX 360 soon. No doubt about Uncharted 2 converting XBOX fanatics since I heard it has converted many as well. If you look at the YouTube comments on Uncharted 3, many XBOX owners are converting to PS3 as well due to U3. Fanboys should just swallow their pride and get both PS3 and XBOX 360 that way everyone wins.
