Ever wonder how funny glitches in games can be. Well Kotaku published this fantastic video on their site that demonstrates that very notion. Check it out below.
Kotaku writes:
“Here are Game Fails’ top five video game fails of June 2012. Why does it take them this long to pick them? I don’t know. I do know that first two here are so-so. Then they get to the Skyrim one.
The rest are excellent, but I think that Skyrim one should have gotten the top spot.
Enjoy!”

Where are the head-to-heads?
No one wants to see this crap.
Hey Szubakable
We are working on it. Sorry for the lack of Head to Head’s lately but that’s gonna change. We promise! With that said, we’re obviously behind in the comparison department so the next h2h we’re doing is Spec Ops: The Line.
Thanks for commenting.

Great! Looking forward to that game. Saw a review of it on an Australian Gaming tv show the other day. At first glance the game appears to be another generic third person shooter with very average combat mechanics, and average graphics.
BUT, dig a little deeper into the game to reveal an incredibly deep, haunting and controversial story line, the likes of which has seldom been seen in a shooter.
If you like an emersive story line with moralistically difficult decsisions to make that affect the games outcome…….then check this out!
Great! They know how to reply. Nice to know that you will finally be posting another H2H. People can only argue so long on an old post. We need more stuff to debate about around here. Lol.
lmao. that is so true!
Just look at all the comments on the “Doom coming to PS3″ story. lol.
I agree, we need new ammunition.
Just goes to show this sites fans are a loyal bunch!
Spec ops is fun, but we’ve all seen the eurogamer face off, it’s going to end in tears for the ps3 version again.
I should probably get the epic win comments in early.
I read the head to head too. It really wasnt close. I’m sure this one will end the same way.
The Xbox 360 is the best console ever made. –John Carmack
Spec Ops: The Who?
Yeah, looks like another win for the Xbox. Seem’s rather close, but damn, those texture streaming issues! Mind you, face-off’s are usually done with a full Xbox install. PS3 got its ass handed to it with Dragons Dogma too by the looks of things. Oh well. What can you do?
I read it also:]I already have tears building up in my eyes :{..”’…;}But saying that it wasnt a massive leap in quality difference between them both’well maybe some texture problems on ps3:{Ouch!How can they do this to my beloved console :{,.”
Skyrim should ALWAYS be number 1 fail on every fail list, period.
“Skyrim should ALWAYS be number 1 fail on every fail list, period.”
I agree 100%. You beat me to it.
Who in the word “enjoys” a video game that bores you half to death 99% of the time? And the “fun” parts are like doing chores? And why does such a video game get such high reviews?
The market personnel for Skyrim deserve all the credit for the above. They used some secret brainwashing technique to brainwash the critics and the majority of gamers into thnking Skyrim was a great game. And for most everyone else, they at least got you to buy it andway.
Sounds like the maketting team from Skyrim has been taking tips from Microsoft hahahahaha.
I must say I enjoy games such as Dragon’s Dogma more than Skyrim. In Skyrim everything was just so easy. You had regenerative health and you rarely had to worry during fights. Traps barely scratched you and the fast travel system took a chunk of the challenge out of the game. Oh well, I think it’s a good game but it’s pretty much as casual as you can get, difficulty wise.
@SAMCHEZ77,
Sony has been in financial trouble for a while now.
Unfortunately, you’re PS3 fanboy paycheck was cancelled and you’ve been layed off. I’m sorry
@ FLUFFY,
I think the fast travel was a good thing in Skyrim because it saved you from boring yourself to death all over again.
The game is boring enough as it is. Thankfully, once you discovered a place, you didn’t have to bore yourself do death all over again for an hour just to get back to that location.
When traveling, you might come across a couple animals or thugs or discover a new cave with some epic foes, but it wasn’t very fun.
Why would someone want to waste their time boring themselves to death with Skyrim when they could be plaing almost any other game and having a much better time?
Why play Skyrim when you could be playing NHL 12, Mass Effect 2 or 3, Infamous, Infamous 2, Twisted Metal, FEAR 3, WWE 12, Saints Row 3, Forza 3 or 4, or even RAGE?
lol. Sony’s financial situation has been greatly exaggerated in the media. PROFITS are down, but they are not running at a loss. There is a big difference between the two. they still managed to purchase that MEGA cloud company for future endeavours for a massive sum. They aren’t doing too bad……….not as bad as nintendo. So don’t get too excitied. There are many reas of Microsoft tht are struggling too. Believe me. Not all, but some.
so how is it boring exactly? all you’ve said is that it’s boring without providing any real examples to back up your reasoning.
I believe Skyrim is fun because:
1. innovative controls, allowing the player to equip anything to any hand allows for a more custom play-style for each player, do you want to have a fire spell ready in your left hand and a sword in your right? or maybe you prefer a big sword to cut through waves of enemies? or if you’re like me you have a scimitar in both hands (hands down my favorite style of weapon in the game for dual-wielding) so you can slice and dice everything? you can make a class your own very easily.
2. skill based leveling, this is by far the greatest asset of the game, instead of leveling up and then increasing your skills instead it’s the other way around, you raise your skills to level up which then allows you to unlock new abilities for those leveled up skills. it gives you a reason to try out other types of weapons, armor, and spells and then rewards you by leveling you up and giving you a perk point so that you can further enhance your skills its this “what goes around, comes around” style to leveling that really gets you hooked and it’s something I’d love to see used in more games.
3. the gameplay is very fun, I’ll admit it I probably didn’t play the game the same as you did, I played the majority of the game using only unarmed combat. (I created a kajhit with the fists of steel perk that had daedric gloves enchanted with the increase unarmed damage enchantment, I punched an elder dragon to death at level 20, it was got-dang hysterical) but then I branched out into destruction magic, then bows, then one armed weapons and eventually I plan to start playing with two handed weapons (once I unlock the silly ramming block perks so I can do trollin’ things later on with a certain shield in dawnguard) the reaosn being that each way to play offers unique play styles that allow the combat to remain interesting even when I’m closing in on 200+ hours of play on ONE CHARACTER.
4. the story is interesting enough and lets you shape it more than you’d expect.
5. the silly stuff you can do later on is way too much fun, take for example a sword I found recently “Windshear” it increases the chance to knockdown an opponent when you do a sword bash and when you do it paralyzes them for 1-3 seconds. normally these abilities would have “unless they resist” tagged on to make them balanced a bit but this one doesn’t! so I can knock down giants and mammoths with hilarious ease. (I knocked down a dragon, which to my knowledge isn’t normally even possible in the game, it didn’t know what was going on, tried to take off and then plummeted back down to the ground!) I’ve been building up abilities and perks so that at level 81 (the current maximum level) when I finally make my super broken armor (enchantments boosting health by 50,000 and what not) I’ll have even more fun things to do!
so there are my five reasons that I enjoy skyrim, what are the reasons you don’t? maybe we can have a civil discussion while we wait for the next H2H and maybe we can find a way for you to enjoy skyrim a little more (it’s honestly the best RPG I’ve played excluding Golden Sun)
******************************NEWSFLASH********************************
Read the news today? Microsoft has just posted its first financial loss since becoming a public company. It’s widespread. No one is immune.
@samchez77
Sony has been going up recently but for the last couple years they were on bankruptcy watch (mainly due to the multiple recalls of vaio laptops due to overheating batteries and quite a few flop movies from their film division) and while yes they have profits now it’s still far from what would be counted as satisfactory.
Microsoft posted losses due to the buying of an opposing ad service to Google’s Adsense for a large amount of money and then having it flop (adsense has a very strong hold on the market) what’s more the xbox division saw a 20% increase in profits (as did most divisions in microsoft)
Also nintendo is rich as balls, nobody is buying the wii because everyone already has one and the WiiU is already on the horizon (the 3DS is also doing quite well with the 3DS XL actually not being sold at a loss (which is what microsoft and Sony both do with their consoles) so things are actually the brightest at nintendo atm.
Nintendo were in serious trouble for a while, but slowly turning things round. Yes, Microsoft is lucky it has OS systems & Xbox as they sre keeping them strong.
Its just indictive of the global economy at the moment. Sony will always survive.
@BIGBURTIO
All those fun parts you’ve mentioned really aren’t very fun in Skyrim.
So you thought all those parts you mentioned were fun. Okay, that’s fine. Buy you forgot to mention the 2-10 hours of bordemn in between any of those fun times you mentioned.
Be honest with everyone and tell people about all the countless hours of drudgery and bordemn you must endure between any fun parts.
Play any of the games I mentioned, or almost any other game and you’ll have a much better time. Play almost any other game and you’ll have much more fun, more often without all the hours of bordem and drudgery.
I played Skyrim. Where was the fun. There was none. It was just as dull, uninspiring, lifeless, ho-hum as I saw in the video previews.
Skyrim was incredible, on pc anyway.
360 one wasn’t bad either, not as good as the pc one but a step up from the disgraceful ps3 version
only a small step up though. Skyrim is the kind of game that should ONLY be played on PC I think. Something about RPG’s on consoles that just doesn’t feel the same.
Samchez is correct. I believe that the PC is good for RPG and FPS.
Console for fighting and racing.
And we all know Bethesda is capable of making the PS3 superior or at least equal to the Xbox 360. Oblivion had basically no loading time.
Oblivion for the PS3 wasn’t done by Bethesda, Szubakable. So no. They are not capable and are as incompetent as you can get.
We can only blame Bethesda for the disgraceful PS3 version, not the console itself.
I’m aware that they didn’t develop the game, but they still were involved in it. They published it for the PS3. If they were smart they would have handed it off to 4J Studios again.
Good to see something up. It seems the locals are getting restless but don’t forget that we appreciate the content that you put on this site
This great site is dead ;x
yeah, something serious is defo going on. I really hope they can pull through and get back to normal.
AAAAAnnnd they’re gone again. This site was really pumping out lots of news and head to heads for a while and now it’s a ghost town. Hope they come back, they still have plenty of users waiting for the next article or head to head.
“We can only blame Bethesda for the disgraceful PS3 version, not the console itself.”
It doesn’t matter what version you buy, you’ll bore yourself to death equally with all of them.
@SAMCHEZ77 and CERNAMIL,
You’re PS3 fanboy paychecks still bounced
Call me a Twisted Metal fanboy if anything. The biggest one there is. :3
Shoo you phony.
Twisted Metal fanboy=good.
Let me give you some feedback. You’re a PS3 fanboy in denial
Thank God you’re a Skyrim fanboy.
Thank God you’re NOT a Skyrim fanboy is what I meant to say.
Anyone who is a Skyrim fanboy has way too much time on their hands.
They are the kind of people who enjoy watching paint dry and the grass grow.
Nahhhhhhh, I ain’t no PS3 fanboy (and definitely no Skyrim fanboy, blehg). It’s just that no other platform is as good and can’t quite offer the same experience.
Wanna know something crazy? The Xbox 360 was almost going to be my first console this gen. I really couldn’t care about the PS3 at all back then. Only reason why I decided against it was because I didn’t have an HDTV at the time. lolol Sometimes I wonder what my stance would be now if I started off with a 360… probably not too good if I ended up going through 5 of them. lol It’s bad enough that my brand new 360 slim died in 6 months…
Also, Playstation has always had my most favorite franchises since the beginning anyway. Like I said, Twisted Metal being my most favorite franchise of all time along with Gran Turismo. So the 360 got Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry. Big whoop. Never cared for those games last gen, don’t care for them now.
I suppose the only burn was when GTA 4 got exclusive content on the 360. But it ended up on the PS3 anyway. lol
All I know is that I’ve turned into a bigger gamer than I ever was during the PS1, PS2 and even the SNES days thanks to the awesomeness of the PS3.
Also, I had a blast every time my friends would bring their 360 over to play Call of Duty (loved World at War) or Bioshock. My oh my was my mind blown when I first experienced those games.
tl;dr – shut up, I just happen to prefer the PS3 over other platforms this gen.
