Some new gameplay footage from Battlefield 3 running on the Xbox 360 has been found on youtube. In the first two videos we see the up-loader notes were captured with the HD texture pack installed, while the third video does not have the HD texture pack installed. Have a look inside and let us know what you think.

The story seems pretty poor but that may have to do with that this might be the intro mission. Great graphics but far from the best based on what I´ve seen.

I was hoping the "without" video was the same footage as the with the texture pack. From what I saw though it did indeed look shocking.

Wow, not only are there low res textures but a very low poly count as well. That intro looks pretty bad ass though.

God… The xbox version is so lame :( WHY GOD WHY?!
Lightning are HORRIBLE! Ps3 Version looks much better!

Wouuh I'm quite shocked. No fanboyism here, but seriously guys, that looks bad.
Throughout all the clips lightning is bad. Not atmospheric at all imo. In clip 2 textures are poor and screen tearing is enormous.
And without the texture pack – look at the third clip in 720p and full screen. Notice the enemies? Really looks like PS2, no jokes here.
I'm not saying PS3 looks better, I just say let's hope PS3 looks better :/ And I'm really sorry for the Xbox 360 gamers. I always hate to see a bad port :(

I already paid for my pre-order, and I am feeling screwed by DICE. Lack of Xbox footage previously, and now they release this footage 3 days before premiere… And it's not a little diff between those 2 platforms. It's like main feature of Frostbite engine.
