The demo kept on crashing left and right (I can’t even recall how many time I had to reboot my PS3), and when it didn’t crash, I got all these “matchmaking errors”. After two hours of frustration, I uninstalled the stupid thing. In the end, I couldn’t even join a single online match… never seen that ridiculous a demo before in my life. That said, I did manage to get through one challenge (without crashing), and personally, I thought the game looks and plays pretty good (but they seriously need to fix that demo.)
I had no problems at all with this demo.
Did you try to delete it and download it again?
I did, but it doesn’t improve anything, still crashes like mad.
Twisted Metal meh. I mean just the demo is causing the over priced internet ready blu ray player to crash. Mine too. Oh well. Back to a real gaming machine my SUPERIOR Xbox 360, BANG!!
“Xbox 360 is the BEST console EVER made.” –John Carmack
You could only imagine what would happen if the 360 attempted to run this game. It would be like 3 nuclear World Wars in one! lol

I can never connect either. Just once I’ve been able to get into the lobby, we were 4 people but then after few minutes w/o starting we all left. Otherwise matchmaking error over and over.
I really don’t understand how after so many years there are still problems with some online games. Aren’t there some tested, reliable protocols that anyone can adopt?
The demo brought back good memories. The game is lots of fun and little hard getting used to the controls again.
Game of the Year. No questions asked.
@Crying1999 Oh god forbid that a demo doesn’t work properly. Whatever shall we do that a free demo doesn’t work! You can say meh all you want, but you Xbots like to throw around this relevancy crap, and it’s blatently obvious that the most relevant Car combat title in gaming history is fact Twisted Metal, and this one is looking to be the greatest one ever.
I’ve been able to play the demo just fine; only had a few problems the first day. Unlike your imaginary PS3, mine’s real, and I can safely say this game is fantastic.
I dont see why anyone could dislike this. C’mon, every male since they were crawling around likes seeing things smash. this game lets you do it. i cant wait to have all nighters with this.
maybe with fairy floss and hot cocoa lol.
cant wait, MP is going to be an absolute blast. many giggles
Loved the demo. One of the most fun games I’ve played in a long time. The graphics and gameplay are miles ahead of anything available on teh $hitbox or kidtendo bay sitter.
Wonder how long it will be til M$ will attempt to make thier own rip-off version of this game and pretend like its original
Was on this lastnight.. brought back memories
this game is just as fun as it was back in the day. Made a nice change from what we all use to now days. Was really fun and definitely a pre order must!.
I loved it but i am pissed off that the online is broken or maybe it just doesn’t work because not everyone is connected at once so there is no way for people to play with others. I will buy this game on Black Friday I have a big feeling this will end up just like Infamous 2 and Killzone 3, very good games but with a low sale rate and i am not going to waste a extra $20 for something that will drop price in 2 months – 6 months no matter how much of a PS3 fan i am but right now i have 20+ games i need to finish damn!!!
Listen to this retarded comment!?

Somebody does not know much about living expenses
(over priced internet ready blu ray player
). If this was true the average xbox player wouldnt have had to spend an additional $300 to replace their first xbox plus $60 a year for their online experience. 5 years of playing the xbox online and you have already spent $300 for online play! You could buy two ps3′s with that money of which I have because I chose not to replace my broken xbox 360. With the price I saved without buying online I got another 1080p HD tv!
The xbox 360 is part of a marketing scam built to appear cheaper than what it really is. The PS3 is the same price now but even when It was more it was worth the expense of two years worth of xbox live online play!
