Microsoft has confirmed (perhaps accidentally) the existence of Fable Heroes — a new Xbox Live title that promises to put a “fresh spin on the beloved Fable franchise”. In Fable Heroes, players can play both cooperatively and competitively in what Microsoft is calling a “hack-and-slash adventure”.

Fable Heroes is being developed by Lionhead Studios and will be released on Xbox Live Arcade May 12th. A price was not listed on the Fable Heroes product page. Below are the first screenshots from the game. Have a look and let us know what you think.
