Capcom is no stranger to releasing HD remakes of their classic games. The latest being Resident Evil Code: Veronica and Resident Evil 4, which will be coming to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade later this month. Now it seems Capcom has a few more HD remakes up their sleeve.
The ESRB (via CVG) has rated the first three Devil May Cry games for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. If you recall, a story popped up in June stating the DMC Collection would be released on the PlayStation 3 only, however this new ESRB rating says otherwise. Capcom has yet to officially announce the title but a ESRB rating usually means an announcement will be coming soon…usually. We’ll keep you updated.

Ugh,
Not more HD remakes i am getting so sick of these. (that goes for Halo 1 HD remake to) Its time to move on from last generation I’ve aready all the last generation games on my Ps2 or (flopbox 1) I don’t need replay any of them again. Were are the new IPs this gen?
There’es plenty of new IPs this gen… If you play on PS3. PS3 seems to have gotten 90% of the successfull exclusive IPs, on top of the successful multiplat new IPs. You should probably consider getting yourself a PS3, agamer.
who cares about exclusives. i own all the systems so there are no exclusives
so tell your mom to buy you some more stuff lmao
Since I never bought the first three games (as I mostly borrowed from the people I know back then), so this is good chance for me to properly collect them. Anyway, here’s hoping that HD remastering process will be decent at least, not something shoddy like the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Trilogy. The textures better be properly re-polished, and the whole collection must be jaggies-free. Above all, the performance should at least be locked at 30fps with absolutely no screen-tear (though a constant 60fps would be a nice bonus, too.)
If you haven’t played the DMC games yet you’re in for a nice surprise. They are some of the best games ever made.
I’ll admit that I think the HD collections are cash ins to get people to double dip on a game they already own, and for the most part it didn’t work. However, once SotC was announced and then DMC collection awhile ago, these games are just that good.
If Capcom ever releases an HD collection of RE Outbreak without the 10 second load times when changing screens, then that’ll be a day one purchase for me.
No, I already played them. It’s just that I only borrowed those games from friends and such, and never actually bought them for myself. So, I figure this would be a perfect chance for me purchase these games, and keep them. I don’t know, for some reason it just feels nice to have tangible copies of the games I like…
Its good… the 1st ever DMC game is my personal favorite game. Cant recall how many times I beat that in Hard mode. Crazy game but highly addictive. Its the wildest crazy over the rooftop action game for that time.
It’s sad, but I’ve only beaten the original on Normal. I’ve beaten DMC2 and DMC3 both on Dante Must Die. Infact, Vergil as the last boss, I always fought him over and over on DMD.
You’d assume that everyone’s favorite weapon would be the Rebellion. My two favorite weapons were Agni/Rudra as primary and Beowulf as secondary. I’d almost always choose Agni and Rudra over Rebellion as my primary, but Rebellion gets enough time in as I use it frequently as both primary and/or secondary. I never use the Nevan, just don’t like it.
Atleast I’ll say the Rebellion is my primary on DMC1(until Alastor,) and DMC4. On SMT Nocturne, Rebellion is the only weapon I use for Dante.
I have all three games on PS2…but I’ve never really gotten around to playing all of them. DMC1 has just aged so poorly, it’s tough for me to keep playing. I’ll probably get them on PS3 as well, since it is HD, and I might as well…
Ive played the 1st one and the 4th”so i might take a look at this hd collection for the other two’just hope its got inverted controles inputted into the games unlike splintercell hd on ps3 lol:}lazy ass ubisoft’but im sure capcom will add this inverted controle to these games.
WHERE IS MONSTER HUNTER FREEDOM 3 HD FOR UNITED STATES??? SUPPORT THIS AWESOME GAME , PLEASE !!!
My mum won’t let me play this cause there is a gun on the cover
