Here’s a heads up for you Elder Scrolls fans out there. Bethesda is offering the first two titles in The Elder Scrolls series, Arena and Daggerfall, for FREE.

All you have to do is head over to the Bethesda page for each (links above) and click download. You will need an emulator as these two games were originally released for MS-DOS systems back in 1994 and 1996. DOSBox is the best DOS emulator you can find, and you can download it here.

So if your getting tired of Skyrim (unlikely), or just want to see where the series’ fantastic story began, head over to Bethesda and get to downloading these two.

Thanks, AgedGamer

A lone prisoner must travel to Tamriel’s most famous and dangerous sites to collect the shattered Staff of Chaos, save the Emperor and free the Empire.

The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall

In the power struggle that follows, the King of Daggerfall is murdered and his spirit haunts the kingdom.
