Capcom has released a new trailer from their reboot of the Devil May Cry series, DmC. This trailer is titled “the escape” and in it, Dante is doing just that; escaping from a crumbling city that looks like its actually attacking Dante. This trailer is pure gameplay, and you can watch it below.

Well, at the very least it’s a different Dante from a parallel world.
It actually reminds me Alice in Wonderland.
I guess that was kinda cool.
This game would look pretty awesome, if they weren’t destroying a beloved character.
The game also looks like a rails driven one.

Dante’s new look seriously kills the game. I want the white-haired, badass, douchebag back.

I don’t know about this. I mean I do like Ninja Theory games and I’ll wait to pass judgement until I play it. I was really unhappy with the new look Dante at first but as long as there is great fun gameplay and a great soundtrack, I’ll definitely give them the benefit of the doubt.
I love DMC so i will give it a go, im not sure about the look of Dante; I mean It’d be fine if it was a different character from a different game, but the fact that it’s Dante just kills it. Either way I will buy it regardless of reviews.
I guess the big thing to keep in mind for this is, from what I understand, this is a prequel set WAY before the four main games. Even is DMC3, Dante is far older then any human could ever hope to be. In this one he’s supposed to be around twenty-something.
Prequel, it is not. Ninja Theory has already announced a while back that this game takes place in a parallel world, which means this Dante has nothing to do with the other Dante.
NT announced that after all fans complained about the horrible look of the new Dante, after they realized that they’re not going to sell a single copy of this game.
At first they stated it was to be a reboot/prequel, then they changed stating it’s not a prequel but a different story based in a parallel universe, so they can justify the fact that this is not Dante at all.
Ninja Theory is pathetic.

Well, prequel or not, it doesn’t matter. The game can flop for all I care.
I like DMC series, and I know very well Ninja Theory is a great game developer, But this episode must be up to the expectation, and hope NT learned from HS how not to please the gamers as much as produce a great game such DMC. we all went through hell of time to enhance and gain power for Dante, hopeful it still the same thing to do but in a better way.
