A recently filed trademark by Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Media has some people thinking this is the Skyrim DLC we’ve all been waiting for.
The filed trademark by Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Media is “Dawnguard” — which may refer to the Mythic Dawn cult.
The Mythic Dawn were led by Mankar Camoran in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. They’re the same cult responsible for the assassination of Emperor Uriel Septim VII, and are obsessed with the Daedric prince of destruction, Mehrunes Dagon (also the main baddie in Oblivion).
We’ve seen Daedric DLC before, the ginormous Oblivion DLC Shivering Isles was dedicated to Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness, so this could entirely be possible. Give us your thoughts below.

Cool, back to oblivion again. Why don’t they add things that we HAVEN’T seen yet, I don’t want to go fight a bunch of stupid cultists and daedra all over again. This to me shows Bethesda’s laziness.
How about making a judgment after it’s out? ”Dawnguard may refer to the Mythic Dawn cult”. That’s a big MAY. But hey, F it. We should all unite under the flag of ignorance.
yeah that would be really good
oblivion was pure epic
Not going to waste money on another very probable lagging experience. Then I didn’t find Skyrim that exciting either.
again bashin on a elder scorlls rpg
have you played oblivion ( the best rpg of this generation) on the ps3?
does it lag ?
It’s good for openers. How bout a dragon isle and steal some eggs for a neat pet.
@ASTEROC1138, shut up. It’s stupid posters like you which add to the overall representation of stupidity and ignorance of the gaming community on websites like Lens. Read the article again before rushing to comment on Bethesda’s “laziness”; the article says “may refer”. It is speculation. Reserve the majority of your uninformed opinion until the DLC is out or at least announced.
