It means you’ll be able to play the entire Doom series on PS3 for the first time and see for yourself why many consider these games to be some of the most influential shooters of all time!
Some new gameplay footage from the LucasArts developed Star Wars 1313 is out in the wild. Along with Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs, it’s hard to argue seeing two more impressive looking new IPs at the show then the two just mentioned. Square Enix has revealed their new Luminous Studio game engine at a private E3 presentation Tuesday evening. The engine will be used to power the next generation of Square Enix games. Inside is the tech demo, titled, “Agni’s Philosophy: Final Fantasy”, and it was made entirely using Luminous Studio.
During Ubisoft’s E3 presentation yesterday, the company showed off a new and very impressive looking IP they’ve been working on. It’s called Watch Dogs and in it, you’ll play as a hitman. Gameplay will involve hacking various electronic devices; cell phones, cameras, and traffic lights in order to reach your target. Debut trailer inside.
Platinum Games sits down with GameTrailers to show off the controls for their upcoming game, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. You can no doubt see flashes of Vanquish and Bayonetta, both developed by Platinum, along with some of the gore of the Ninja Gaiden series in MGR:R. The game is set to be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 early 2013.
Gears of War Judgment, the next game in the Gears of War franchise, is indeed a prequel taking place before the events of the first Gears game. The debut trailer was shown off yesterday at Microsoft’s E3 conference. Towards the end of the trailer we get to see some actual gameplay. Check it out inside.
The next game from Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream has been officially announced by David Cage during Sony’s E3 press conference tonight. The game is called Beyond, and it will star Juno actress, Ellen Page in the game’s lead role. You can watch the debut demonstration, which happens to take place in real-time, inside.
