The official launch trailer for Battlefield 3 is here and it’s nothing short of explosive. In the trailer: A sinister power is rising in the Middle-East, and Marine Sergeant “Black” discovers how far he would go to defend his country. The question is, how far would you go?

WTF are you talking about? You’ve got it backwards. There are campaign maps in the multiplayer.

I like what I’ve seen, hope the story actually turns out well. That seems to be one of the hardest things to get across in the FPS genre. Very few studios know how to pull it off in an affective way.
Very true. Thinking back, i can’t think of many FPS’s that have captivated me story wise. Maybe CoD 2(WWII nuff said), CoD 4(SAS, nuff said) and possibly Halo CE(purple aliens, nuff said). I have to mention the Darkness too, but that ending made absolutely no sense at all. Other than those choice few the story in FPS’s is just the boring bit that i ignore inbetween making peoples head’s explode.
the only thing that i don’t like about this game is… that is going to kill my social life xD
