The rumours can finally stop – DICE and EA have just confirmed that Battlefield 3 will be entering public multiplayer beta on September 29th (that’s next Thursday, for you playing at home, and just less than a month before the game’s launch). Also, the Official beta site is now live. Follow the link to get the full details. Below is the details of who can get the hands on it first.
“THE OPEN BETA STARTS SEPTEMBER 29TH ON XBOX 360, PLAYSTATION 3, AND PC. THOSE THAT HAVE ALREADY PRE-ORDERED THE PC DIGITAL DOWNLOAD VERSION OF BATTLEFIELD 3 THROUGH ORIGIN OR OWN THE LIMITED/TIER 1 EDITION OF MEDAL OF HONOR FOR XBOX 360, PLAYSTATION 3 OR PC, WILL HAVE EARLY ACCESS STARTING ON SEPTEMBER 27TH. THE OPEN BETA ENDS ON OCTOBER 10TH.”
Well there you have it. Battlefield 3 multiplayer beta is coming are you ready?

Wow this will be great on Xbox live, psn…..well it’s been down again. But hey I’m sure there will be “some” uptime for the overpriced internet ready blu ray player fans before the beta ends!!

that was a really long wait, i was thinking it would come out early september.
whatever… i will be playing this on the 27th on my PS3, and 29th on PC. Hell yes.
i’m so hyped about this,but i’ve heard rumors that these are early pre alpha betas and they won’t look as good as the final game.
i hope this is not true.
Who cares if the demos are pre-alpha, did you really just say you hope the final game doesn’t look better than the demo? Haha ‘WAY TO GO JARED!’ Just kidding!
No offense to you but that statement makes no sense. Pre-Alpha, Alpha, and Beta are different stages in the game. Beta a term used for when a game is near or has already gone gold, but still has some QA to go through to fix some things before release. Theres no way they would release this claiming it is Beta code and look like the Alpha code.
