Finally, all the questions, rumors and leaks regarding Assassin’s Creed III can put to rest (well most anyway). Today Ubisoft has released the debut trailer for Assassin’s Creed III, and rather then spoiling all the details for you here, do yourself a favor and have a look at it yourself. We have a feeling you won’t be sorry. After you give it a watch, and, if you weren’t excited already for ACIII, does this trailer change you mind? Let us know below.
“18th Century North America: After more than 20 years of conflict, the 13 American colonies and the British Crown are on the brink of all out war. Battle lines are drawn. Bloodshed is inevitable.
“Out of the embers of his burning village, a new assassin will rise. Born of Mohawk and British blood, his fight for freedom and justice will be forged in the flames of revolution.”
So, what did you think of new hero Connor?

I hope we’ll see Wii U added to the head2head now. Fingers crossed that it will be the best version.
For what purpose, though…
The result is already obvious since it’s going to be more powerful than the current consoles (come on, there’s a whole 6-7 years gap in between.)
I always find starting fresh with a new story and new characters to be promising. So yeah, I hope it’ll be great.
I might buy this if they don’t add in MP.
We all know PC is going to be the best looking/performing copy.
But putting that aside… Does Washington’s voice just seem… off to you guys. Idk, it just doesnt fit how I always figured he sounded like
It’ll come out at least one month after console version, and it’ll probably be incompatible with the latest video drivers, meanwhile consoles owners will be playing Assasin’s Creed 5.
Hmm, you’ll be playing a game that would be years away from being announced?? This might be the 5th game but it is the 3rd story in the series hence being called Assassin’s Creed 3.
While you lot are still here contemplating and arguing about the smallest differences on these poor 30fps low resolution low graphics games that are as bad as each other on both the Xbox and PS3.
Meanwhile Iv’e just sold my 6970 and have my 7970 arrived today and Im playing BF3 MP on Ultra with max AA at 120+ fps on my 120hz monitor with my £150 soundcard and Sennheisers.
Smell the cheese!!!!!
Whatever makes you hapy. I sold my GTX570 in december to buy 360 (already had ps3 slim). I was tired of playing shitty console ports on PC (including MW3 and BF3).
Ive already got a PS3 and Xbox. With a PC Xbox is practically useless so Im looking to sell it since Gears of War 3 is over and they havent got any more exclusives coming. The PS3 I play on every now and then and will keep because it has good exclusive support and Ive got a few games Im looking forward too, Im enjoyinh Twisted Metal atm aswell.
Consoles cant even play todays games good enough, they look horrible and downscaled and 30 fps with poor textures. Game engine trechnology has moved on and the games on the consoles are having to run on painfully low settings.
So wether most games on the PC are conole ports or not you can play them 100′s of times faster and better looking, and a number of games even with a 7970 (such as BF3) still cant be maxed out at above 60 and the hardware is still a bottleneck even though its literally 100+ times more powerull than the Xbox and PS3. Games on the PC are wolrds apart it unreal and even with the some ‘console ports’ even the best PC in the world still cant play it at max settings and 120+ fps
Yes, games look nicer on PC.
Although, ‘A world apart’ ? I don’t think so.
Trust me…. I dont think you actually understand…
Playing a game such as BF3 or any other on the PC with 8+ times for AA, 14 times better textures (yes seriously, thats a fact) up to 8 times the resolution (again, another fact) and 120 fps (from 30 fps…) Completely different and realistic effects, I could go on…..
Playing games on the PC on max or even lower than max sttings IS worlds apart from playing it on the console… its not just “nicer” it IS worlds apart… and if you disagree then you have never sat down and played a decent game on high settings and resolution.
