Hey guys, great site and I commend you on your analysis. Just a few observations. It is obvious when reviewing your H2H's that the lead platform on almost all of the games is the XB360 and it is ported to the PS3. It just seems that way considering framerate and shearing of the graphics. Looking at the two systems, I believe it is well established that the CPU of the PS3 is superior and the GPU in the XB360 is better. MS has also made it easier for programmers to get a handle of their system, and I suspect get slightly better results. In reality though, it appears that the true graphical showcases this generation, at least, are on the PS3. KZ2 and UC2 are prime examples. It appears that a developer has to take the pedal to metal so to speak to get the full power of the PS3. Having both systems, I can without hesitation state the UC2 is the best looking game I have ever played except for Crysis on a high end PC (that demolishes the consoles but is ten times more expensive),
My question is this. If the installed base of PS3 passes the XB360 in 2011 as is widely believed, do you think it will become the lead platform? Once that happens, do you think that MS will release a trojan horse in the XB720 to get a jump on the competiition again. It appears that a mid range Nvidia Fermi or AMD 5800 series GPU will annihilate anything the consoles have to offer, and MS can probably plug one into a console whenever needed. My thoughts. BTW, maybe next gen we can get true 1080p . Thanks.
