This month is a special “Fighters Edition” of the Monthly Game Giveaway. We will be giving away the recently released BlazBlue, as well as Soul Calibur IV for the system of your choice! Not to mention a few official Lens of Truth t-shirts! So how can you participate in this amazing giveaway? First, before you do anything you must register on our site. This will give you the ability to submit news, comment, upload avatars and +1 coolness.

For this contest we will be taking out our brand new “Submit News” plugin for a test drive! You know, the shiny orange button at the top of the sidebar. It has been tested extensively by the Lens of Truth staff and we feel is now ready for the users. Simply click on the button and follow the instructions.

Points

A new feature that we have added to our site is Points (℗). Users will earn points from various activities on our site. We will be adding additional methods for earning points, but here are a few to start:

• Every comment a user makes will result in 1℗ added to their total. To prevent abuse users will be limited to 10 comments per day. Currently forum comments do not count.
• News stories that are submitted are evaluated and as long as the news is fresh, well written and follows our guidelines we will post it to our news section. Every news article that makes it to the news section will result in 10℗ added to their total.
• Users that would rather not comment or post news can earn points by donating to the Lens of  Truth. Every $5USD donated will earn a user 120℗.

Raffle

Every prize that we feature on our site will be handled through a raffle. Raffle tickets for each prize will have different point associations and will be purchased with a users points. Here are the point values for this month:

• 120℗ – BlazBlue (1 winner)
• 60℗   – Soul Calibur IV (1 winner)
• 20℗   – Official Lens of Truth T-shirt (multiple)

Users can choose to enter a raffle multiple times as long as they have the points. For example if a user had 240℗ they could do the following:

• Enter twice into the BlazBlue drawing.
• Enter once into the BlazBlue drawing and twice into the Soul Calibur IV drawing.
• Any other combination or they can save their points for other drawings. Points do not expire.

Winning

Winners will be selected randomly from the raffle entries and contacted by email. The contest ends on August 14th and we will post more information on redeeming points in the near future. So have fun posting news and commenting! And good luck to everyone participating!
