Resonance of Fate is the newest RPG to be delivered by SEGA. With its anime style, Resonance tries to go for the Japanese RPG market long-coveted by Square Enix. The Lens of Truth, although spoiled with Square Enix’s latest release of Final Fantasy XIII, decided to sit down with Resonance of Fate to see if the game was even a contender to the genre’s prestige. Oh, and we also decided to analyze it as well. So sit back, but not so far back that you can’t see the screen, and watch the video analysis of Resonance of Fate, provided by Play N Trade, Oveido.
For this Head2Head, the Lens of Truth decided to strip down all consoles and hardware to get down to the purest of all comparisons – an apple to an orange! It has long be argued that before the home console debuted there were pointless comparisons. The longest one still standing is of course going back to the Garden of Eden’s apple versus orange.
With Final Fantasy XIII being such a big game, the Lens of Truth had way too much footage to edit down to a single video. So the decision was made to make a section Head2Head with addtional footage and more rollovers for the loyal fans of the Lens of Truth. Since a the first Head2Head post covers an in depth analysis already, this post is shorter to concentrate on the additional material. Enjoy.
Final Fantasy XIII is easily the most anticipated title of the year. With last year’s announcement that Square Enix would develop for both consoles, fans of both systems were tossed on their heads for which console would hold the better version. Square Enix is renowned for their high quality games for both systems, and this could only mean that the Lens of Truth was staring down one the most interesting Head2Heads to date. So read on and watch the video to Final Fantasy XIII’s Head2Head, powered by Play N Trade, Oviedo.

Last week we had a chance to sit down with Battlefield – Bad Company 2 demo for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Like its predecessor, Bad Company 2 features totally destructible environments, meaning that players can literally blow out sections of buildings walls and completely collapse them. The demo places you on either the attacking team, where the goal is to eliminate all crates on a map, or the defending team who must defend crates at all costs.
This week the Lens of Truth takes a sneak peak at the Aliens vs. Predator demo for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. We have to admit, considering previous “less than stellar” titles released from Rebellion studios, we were expecting another cookie cutter demo that would guarantee disappointment, but boy were we wrong. The Aliens vs. Predator demo from the get-go exceeded all expectations, so keep reading on to find out which version had us fighting over who gets to play next while the other version left us grinding our teeth in agony waiting for the next match to begin.
